Our Orangetheory classes are designed to get your heart rate up and keep it up for an hour. Doing so will help you burn anywhere from 500 to 1,000 calories per class. The great thing about our workouts is that you can exercise for one hour and continue to burn calories for up to 36 more. The classes are broken up into three blocks of 12 stations each, which focus on strength and cardio.


Our gym trainer-led group classes make it easier for people to stick to an exercise program. Orangetheory's dedicated fitness experts are always there to guide you through each and every exercise to ensure that you are always getting the maximum benefits. They can also modify any part of the workout for you if need be.


Beginners are always welcome at our classes, and we do our utmost to make everyone feel right at home. Because we have such qualified trainers, people at every exercise level, from athletes to complete beginners, will feel at ease trying our regimen. Coach Josh started with Orangetheory Fitness in January of 2016 in Palo Alto, California. Before going to California he was a school teacher for 5 years. Coach Josh participated in football, tennis, and swimming throughout grade school and college. Josh has a bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Josh loves sports and The Dallas Mavericks and occasionally the Dallas Cowboys. Josh enjoys fried food of all kinds, loves apples, and will never say no to a Twix bar. A perfect morning to Josh is a nice cup of plain black coffee, on a cool morning, sitting on his porch. Josh enjoys helping others set and obtain goals in order to challenge themselves on a daily basis. He has a passion for fitness, and hopes to help lead members into a long lasting healthy lifestyle.

My name is Keri Witt. I was born and raised right here in Waco and am an NASM certified personal trainer. I have a fun-loving, crazy husband who keeps me on my toes and two amazing daughters. I love anything adventurous and active - especially outdoors!

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
